The Davis Cos. Buys Former Brighton Hospital for Multifamily Redevelopment

Boston developer The Davis Cos. has acquired the former Kindred Hospital in Brighton, MA with plans to redevelop the site as a multifamily complex.

Davis paid $15.75 million for the 58,000-square-foot, four-story building, which delivered in 1900 on a 2.12-acre site at 1515 Commonwealth Ave.

Previously a long-term acute hospital, the property is located near Boston Landing and in close proximity to the MBTA Green Line.
