Bertucci’s, the Boston area-based casual restaurant, today filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 in the United States Bankruptcy Court. The filing is requesting the sale of substantially all of Bertucci’s assets, including its 59 restaurants to a bid group called Right Lane Dough Acquisitions LLC.
Sixteen of the chain’s restaurants have served up their last brick oven pizzas as part of the restructuring process.
