Hyatt Accelerates Growth Strategy with Acquisitions of Two Health Spas

Hyatt Hotels Corp. acquired Miraval Group, an owner and operator of spas and resorts from an affiliate of KSL Capital Partners LLC.

The acquisition includes an initial investment of $215 million for the Miraval brand and resorts in Tucson and Austin.

Miraval Resort & Spa is a 133 room, 150,433-square-foot hotel in Tucson. The Crossings (Resort & Spa) is a 70 room, 206,514-square-foot hotel in Austin.
